A MAN has pleaded guilty to having images depicting bestiality.
Jason Birch, 39, of no fixed abode, was charged with two offences of possessing extreme pornography.
Birch, formerly of the Sardis area, was accused of having four images on a Samsung mobile phone depicting a person a sexual act with an animal, and eight images on a second Samsung phone.
Rachel Brown, 54, also of no fixed abode, pleaded not guilty to a charge of possessing extreme pornography relating to the eight images on the second Samsung phone.

Prosecutor David Singh said that a trial would not be sought relating to Brown, and offered no evidence.
Judge Geraint Walters entered a formal not guilty verdict.
Judge Walters adjourned Birch’s sentencing for the preparation of a pre-sentence report.
