Dear Editor
Countless pundits have prophesied the imminent death of the Christian faith in Wales and so it was especially pleasing to note that BBC Wales has recognised the growth and influence of evangelical Christianity in recent years (Week In Week Out, Tuesday November 3rd).
Far from being a negative influence, authentic Biblical evangelicalism has much to offer our broken society, with its emphasis on personal morality and its active concern for the world.
We have a proud history, and an exciting future it seems.
Pembrokeshire will only be the richer if this proves true.
The programme was a salutary reminder too that faith is the norm. It is atheism that is the aberration.
As one astute writer observed: Only fools say in their hearts, “There is no God”.
