The Royal British Legion The branch AGM was held at the Services Club on November 11th. A new member Mr Tim Phillips was welcomed to the branch. The meeting was opened by the branch chaplain Canon Geoffrey Gwyther who paid tribute to those members who had passed away during the year. Officers elected were president Mr D Griggs, vice president Mr G Evans, chairman Mr K Humphreys, vice chairman Mr C Blackmore, all other posts remain unchanged. Members were notified about the Christmas dinner and the Mayors carol service.
The women's section hold their Christmas Bingo on Friday November 26th at the Services Club at 8pm.
