MOST people visit cafes to fill bellies rather than rub them.
But visitors to the Breakfast and Lunch Box in Charles Street, Milford Haven, have been receiving unexpected windfalls after rubbing the belly of an antique Chinese Buddha.
Customer Lisa Davies had several bingo wins and two scratch card successes. "I swear by it," she said. "Every time I rub its belly I win something."
Cafe owners Collin and Gayle Hufton, also tell of a customer who found a £20 note outside the shop, took it to the bookies and won £120 after a belly rub.
The couple placed the artefact in the store as a novelty and have been surprised by its growing reputation.
