The father of two young children was killed in a road crash at Bush Hill, Pembroke, on Sunday morning.
Thomas Rodemer, aged 35, of 22 Margaret Way, Pembroke, was driving his Audi car at around 7.10am when he was involved in a collision with a minibus. He died from his injuries.
Thomas, who was German, was married to Gwyneth, and the couple had two children. His parents-in-law are John and Maureen Powell, of Llanion, Pembroke Dock.
Thomas had joined Wincanton, Withybush, Haverfordwest, as a driver in July, although he had worked at the depot previously with a driving agency.
Speaking on behalf of Wincanton, Adrian Griffiths said: "Thomas was very polite and extremely well-mannered, and was truly professional in his role as an ex-farm milk collection driver. All his colleagues at the Haverfordwest depot are absolutely devastated at his death and our thoughts are with Thomas' wife and children."
Arrangements for the funeral are still to be finalised but details may be obtained from funeral directors E. C. Thomas & Son, on 01646 682680.
