Ravenous visitors to Fishguard and Goodwick won’t go hungry over the bank holiday, thanks to new information compiled by the twin towns’ chamber of trade.
Feedback from visitors in the past suggested that holiday makers needed accurate information about where to eat over the August bank holiday and which establishments were open at what times.
The chamber has put together a list of eateries in Fishguard, Goodwick and their opening hours over the bank holiday weekend. This is available in the eat section of the gofishguard website and has been e-mailed to accommodation providers in the area.
“There are 25 eateries open over the weekend, from takeaways and cafés to good pub food, to quality dining. There are also great eating places in Letterston, Mathry, Newport and elsewhere around Fishguard Bay,” said a chamber spokesman.
“The chamber is working hard to enable both residents and visitors to realise that the twin towns are open for business, especially as the weekend features Aberjazz events which will make you want to dance as well as eat.”
