TWO kayakers were rescued by Tenby RNLI on Sunday after becoming stranded on rocks at Trewent Point, Freshwater East.
The relief all-weather lifeboat was launched at 1pm to go to the assistance of the kayakers, and reached the scene within 15 minutes.
The lifeboat's Y-boat was then launched with two crew members aboard to reach the rocks, where the kayakers were checked over. They were luckily uninjured.
The pair were then taken aboard the Y-boat and landed on the beach at Freshwater East where they were met by members of Tenby Coastguard Rescue Team.
The Y-boat then went back to retrieve the kayak from the rocks and dropped it to the beach, before returning to the all-weather lifeboat.
The lifeboat was stood down and returned to station, arriving at 2.10pm.
