POLICE are investigating a report of rape in Haverfordwest town centre in the early hours of Sunday morning.
A spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police said: "Dyfed-Powys Police is investigating a report of a rape in Haverfordwest at just before 1.30am on Sunday, December 3.
"A woman reported being assaulted by two men in Bridge Street. Following enquiries, two 17-year-old males have been arrested on suspicion of rape and are currently in police custody.
"We are appealing for anyone in the Bridge Street or Riverside area between 1am and 1.30am on Sunday, December 3 to contact us on 101 or by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
"In particular, we would like to hear from anyone who saw a female in the company of two men at this time.”
Police cordoned off the footbridge between the Riverside Shopping Centre and Bridge Street throughout Sunday in relation to the incident.
