Dyfed-Powys Police has tonight charged a 16-year-old boy with the murder of Ffiona Scourfield.
The 54-year-old lady was found dead at a property near St Clears on Tuesday, March 6.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at Llanelli Magistrates’ Courts on Friday, March 9.
No one else is wanted in connection with the incident.
Police said: "The local community is thanked for its understanding and support during this investigation.
"Next of kin continue to be supported by specially trained officers."
UPDATE: Friday, 11.40am: The boy appeared before magistrates at Llanelli and has been remanded in custody at a secure youth unit.
The next appearance will be before Swansea Crown Court on March 12.
