Pembrokeshire YFC hosted the Annual Wales Field Day which was held at the County Showground with the support of Pembrokeshire Agricultural Society.

A large number of YFC members travelled the length and breadth of Wales to compete in a variety of competitions ranging from stock judging, sheepdog trials, fence erecting and farm workshop skills and many more.

At the end of the day a number of prizes came to Pembrokeshire including the senior stock judging competition team comprising Georgie Radmore, Charles George, Bethan Jenkins and Rhys James who came first and Rhys James, Llysyfran YFC, who won the highest individual stock judging in the senior competition.

The junior stock judging team – Carys Howell, Robbie Reed-Griffiths, Steffan Wilson and Megan Lewis – came third.

The sheep dog trials were won by Llio Harries, Eglwyswrw.

The farm workshop skills was won by Rhys Bevan, Caryl Bevan, Ali Lawrence and Berwyn Warlow from Llysyfran with Caryl Bevan winning the first aid competition.

The senior fence erecting team from Clunderwen YFC won their competition and Sara Edwards and Elli-Mae Rees from Llysyfran YFC won the Fferm Factor competition.

At the end of the day Pembrokeshire YFC came third behind Carmarthen and Radnor federations.
