A family-run dairy farm has scored a double win in the Narberth Grassland Society’s annual competitions this year.
The Lewis family, of Clerkenhill near Haverfordwest were awarded the Grassland Management Cup and Permanent Pasture Cup at the Society’s recent annual general meeting.
President Roy Hughes also presented the Silage Competition Cup to Anthony and Richard Phillips, of Orton Farm, Clarbeston Road, while the Richard Hammond In-house Silage Cup was awarded to Daniel James, of Gelli Olau, Bethesda.
Winner of the Big Bale Silage Cup was David Bowes, of Cwmllefrith, Llanddewi Velfrey, and the Maize Silage Cup was presented to Hugh James, of Langdon Mill, Begelly.
