A MUM and daughter are having a charity date with a hairdresser on Friday, May 4, in aid of The Little Princess Trust.
Melanie and Tamzin Caudwell are donating their long locks to the charity which makes wigs for children who have lost their hair.
Their special haircuts, together with a fundraising evening for The Little Princess Trust, will take place at the Kilgetty RAOB Club where Melanie is stewardess and Tamzin a staff member.
Said Melanie: "I was saddened to hear how many children lose their hair for various reasons and the fact that they cannot get real hair wigs free on the NHS.
"Each wig costs £350 and only lasts four to six months.
"I know there is a lot of fundraising going on at the moment for Cancer Research and I, too have supported these, but this particular charity can help a child overcome so much."
Local hairdresser Leah Fouracre has donated her time to go along to the club and cut eight inches off each of the mum and daughter's hair.
The evening gets underway at 7.30pm, with a raffle, karaoke and nibbles, and everyone is welcome to go along.
