FUNDRAISING youngster Elly Neville was recently presented with a cheque for more than £500 by staff at Haverfordwest’s The Lost Coins pub restaurant.

The £553.60 will go to Elly's Ward 10 Flag appeal, raising funds for the Ward 10 Cancer Ward at Withybush Hospital.

Elly had a fantastic time at The Lost Coins.

After a lot of fundraising by Manager Anna Miller and the team at the Lost Coins, with music nights, quiz nights, and other events over the last few months, Elly was invited along to collect a cheque. Elly also enjoyed a very large bowl of Jelly and Ice Cream.

Elly’s dad Lyn Neville said: “This is a fantastic amount and we thank all at The Lost Coins for their hard work, support and generosity.

“Thank you to all the customers who donated. The Lost Coins is also kind enough to be holding a supply of Ward 10 Flag merchandise, so if you need a Ward 10 Flag keyring, coaster, fridge magnet or bottle opener that’s the place to go.

“Your support for Elly's Flag and for Improved Cancer Services is very much appreciated by us and all the Ward 10 staff at Withybush General Hospital. Elly’s Appeal total now stands at £11,800.”

Donations can be made at www.justgiving.com/ward10flag/ or at any Pembrokeshire Branch of Barclays Bank quoting Elly’s ward 10 Flag Appeal T928.
