A HAVERFORDWEST teenager recently had her long locks cut to help youngsters who have lost theirs through illness.

Jade Ballard, 14, took the plunge and had her hair cut by James Marjoram at The Lodge Hair and Beauty, raising £500 for the Little Princess Trust, raising funds through her Justgiving page www.justgiving.com/Jade-Ballard

On her Justgiving charity web page, Jade said: “I have been growing my hair for a while now with the purpose of cutting it short and donating it to the Little Princess Trust so they can make real hair wigs for children who have lost their hair due to cancer treatments. I am also hoping to raise as much money as possible for the charity to help with the cost of making the wigs.”
