A VITAL building project is another step closer, thanks to a £250 donation from Milford Haven Round Table.

The project, to replace the old wooden-style windows at Milford Haven Sea and Royal Marine Cadets's base in Haven's Head Business Park, is costing around £7,000, but will ensure that the Cadets and other local community groups that use it have a building fit for purpose and maintain safe for its users.

This fantastic donation will see the completion of the project fundraising and will allow the installation to go ahead in the next couple of months.

Chief Petty Officer (SCC) Beverley Jenkins, the Commanding Officer of Milford Haven Sea Cadets and Royal Marines Cadets said: “It makes me very proud to be apart of a community that is so caring and generous of the development of the youth of Milford Haven; as well as helping to support a local community group and charity like us.

"I can only thank the Milford Haven Round Table for their on-going support but for allowing us to complete this project in trying to improve our facilities and reduce the heating bills too!”
