RESIDENTS of a house in Narberth had a shock awakening in the early hours of Sunday after a car crashed into their frontage
The vehicle demolished part of the garden wall at the property in Northfield Road at 1.20am, ending up just feet from the front door.
The driver, who escaped with cuts and bruises, was arrested.
A police spokesman said on Monday: "A 41-year-old man from Pontypridd has been charged with driving a motor vehicle when his alcohol level was above the legal limit, following a single vehicle road traffic collision in Narberth.
"He has been bailed to appear before Haverfordwest magistrates’ court on Tuesday November 24."
