OVER the Christmas and New Year period, Pembrokeshire County Council Chairman Wynne Evans, braved icy seas with hundreds of others to take part in the sponsored swims at Tenby and Saundersfoot.
Councillor Evans took the plunge to raise money for his nominated charities. He has already presented cheques to the Wales Air Ambulance and HOPE, and has now made a donation to the British Heart Foundation (BHF).
Ralph and Venetia Dunbar from the Narberth branch of the BHF went along to County Hall where they were delighted to be presented by Councillor Evans with a cheque for £229.84
