Shocking footage has been circulating online of the moment a man was knocked out by a single punch of an Asda security guard.
The guard wearing a jumper with the word ‘security’ on it is approached by a man wearing a grey tracksuit at the entrance of a store in Southend-on-Sea, Essex.
As the man approaches the security guard he is met by a fierce right hand from the guard causing his knees to buckle as he collapses to the floor.
The man is then dragged out of the store by the security guard as passers-by watch on.

Asda issue statement on incident
An Asda spokesperson said: “We do not tolerate violence in our stores and are investigating the incident in our Shoeburyness store as well as supporting the police fully with their enquiries.
“As this is an ongoing police investigation we cannot provide any further comment at this time.”
The incident is being investigated by police.

An Essex Police spokesperson added: “We are investigating following an incident in Shoeburyness.
“We were called to the Asda store in North Shoebury Road to reports of a disturbance where a man in his 20s was assaulted.
