MR Eric James (Eric the Ambulance) passed away peacefully at Plas Bridell Nursing Home, Cardigan on April 6.

He was 80 years of age.

Eric was born in Tafarn Spite in 1937 and grew up in Nevern and Cardigan.

He married Janet in 1963 and they went on to have three children, Tina, John and Hayley.

He was grandfather to Caryl, Nia, Geraint, Rebecca, Charlotte, Gareth and William and a great grandfather to Cerys and Alys. Father-in-law to Huw, Judith and Dai and brother of Mary, Vincent and the late Jim.

The service was held at Parc Gwyn Crematorium, Narberth on April 13 and was officiated by Reverend Geoffrey Eynon.

The bearers were Ambulance colleagues Anthony Leahy, Phil Rees, Hywel James and Huw James.

There were immediate family flowers only at the funeral with donations in lieu, if desired, to 'Dementia Wales' c/o Paul Jenkins & Sons Funeral Directors, Feidr Castell, Fishguard, SA65 9BB, who also carried out the funeral arrangements.

A LARGE gathering of family and friends attended the funeral on Thursday, May 24 at Parc Gwyn Crematorium, Narberth of Mr Alan Thomas Ormond of Woodfield Avenue, Kilgetty.

Alan passed away on May 12 at Withybush Hospital age 69 years.

Alan leaves his partner Teresa; children Tracy, Barry, Nicola and Louise and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Sister Vie and brothers and sisters-in-law Cliff and Sandra, Michael, Patrick and Jane and Clem.

The funeral service was officiated by Reverend Caroline Mansell.

The bearers were Barry Ormond, Cliff Ormond, Mike Day, and Graham Hughes.

A native of Tenby, his working life at the age of fifteen included Alan starting his working life in a bakery in Tenby but after a while he became a self employed builder and he stayed in the building trade until he retired.

His main interests were playing with the "Frantic Five" band, football especially Manchester United and holidays in the sun.

There were family flowers only with donations in memory of Alan made payable to C.C.U Withybush Hospital c/o Funeral Directors Messrs W & M J Rossiter & Sons Ltd. The Old Rectory, The Norton, Tenby, SA70 8AB who also carried out the funeral arrangements.
