THIRTY-FIVE years after he started selling agricultural machinery and implements, Howell Jenkins has gone back to his roots.
Mr Jenkins went on to set up his own business 15 years after starting Western Farm Implements, of Gowerton, selling horticultural and arborist equipment.
Howell and his wife, Glynis, along with their two sons, Gareth and Emyr, have now expanded the range of machinery at Jenkins Garden Machinery to include Shire compact tractors, which are suitable for small holdings, equestrian and agricultural properties.
Mr Jenkins, dealer principal, said: “The prospect of selling tractors again is an exciting one, and I feel it’s important to pass on my knowledge of this industry to the rest of the team at JGM. We are all keen to continue and expand our current efforts at building a strong business in the area in the long-term.”
After-sales director Gareth Jenkins added: “I’m confident that with Shire tractors, we will be able to continue to offer the same high level of customer-focused service and support for which we have become known.”
The new range, along with numerous implements will be on display and available at Jenkins Garden Machinery, Cross Hands, during a promotional weekend on October 25th and 26th.
