Members and officials of the North Pembrokeshire Grassland Society at the April meeting paid high tributes to a former member, Andrew Joules, 53, who sadly passed away last month.
Andrew had been an active member since moving, with his wife, Cathy, and young family from Derbyshire, to west Wales some 20 years ago.
Farming extensively, both livestock and tillage, Andrew and Cathy had also become closely involved with the Grazing Dragons Discussion Group where they had made many new friends.
Andrew was also an accomplished table tennis player and had, with his elder son, Simon, became valued members of the Carmarthen club.
The Grassland Society members had chosen to make a substantial donation in Andrew’s memory towards the excellent work of the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
