BJP REPORTS: Store cattle (214): Best entry for the year with a fantastic trade. Best price of £940 for a 29-month-old Charolais steer sold by Green, Uzmaston. Best heifer was a 20-month-old Limousin sold by Canton, Nolton, for £725.

Steers: Hereford 24 months £915; Limousin 24 months £900; Bel Blue 25 months £850; Lim 22 months £800; Simmental 24 months £785; Lim 20 months £755. Heifers: Lim 21 months £665; Angus 24 months £685; Hereford 23 months £650.

Cull cows (11): Best price of £740 for a 680k cow sold by Bowen, Rosebush. A Lim bull weighing 910k sold for £955 from Harries, Cilauwen. Max per kilo 117 pence, average per kilo 102 pence.
