Championship:

Narberth v Glynneath

After a gutsy win in Skewen last Saturday, The Otters host the league's bottom club.

With Tenby not playing, Yannick Parker will start on the wing, and the home side will want to get the ball in his hands against a team with just two wins from seven starts so far.

A victory will cement Narberth's second place in the table, but after struggling to get past struggling Rhydyfelin at home earlier in the season, Sean Gale's men will be wary of complacency.

Narberth: Ianto Griffiths, Liam Hutchings, Joseph Hutchings, Paul Davies, Yannick Parker, Jonathan Rogers, Rhys Lane, Bradley Davies, Rhodri Owens, Tom Slater, Ryan Banner, Alex Jenkins (captain), Pat Roberts, Tom Powell, Richard Rees.

Replacements: Ryan Rees, Dan Smith, Dewi Williams, Lewys Gibby, Ryan Davies.

Division Three West A:

Cardigan v Milford Haven

Both teams were called off last week - but it is The Mariners who go into this with more momentum.

Alan McClelland's men won comprehensively at Aberaeon last time out, and are currently looking assured both up front and behind the scrum - although they will be missing the influential Dewi Williams as he returns to action with Narberth tomorrow.

The Teifisiders go in on the back of damaging defeats against Crymych 2nds (National Bowl) and Laugharne, and Colin Davies' men will know they need to arrest the slide quickly to keep in touch at the top.

It was Cardigan who won a fierce clash when the sides last met here in last season's Bowl quarter final, and with revenge in mind for the away side, this should be an intense 80 minutes again.

Cardigan: Dion James, Sion Hughes, William James Delve, Emyr Harries, Casey Walters, Ben Rogers, Owain Rees, Richard Jones, Luke Palmer Davies, Ben Hughes, Dean Harries, Sion Phillips, Daniel Evans, Osian Rees, Llyr Griffiths.

Replacements: Will Brice, Dylan Davies, Jamie Morgan, Russ Hasler, Tom Dunn.

Pembroke Dock Quins v Neyland

It is going to be a close one to call at Bierspool.

The Quins are much improved, while Neyland have played better thus far than their statistic of one league win suggests.

Both teams have exciting back lines, with the likes of Jake Lewis, Thomas Doyle, and Josh Norman all in good form for Ossie Boswell's men.

But with player-coach Steve Martin at 10, the All Blacks are also sharp in that department, and the centre partnership of youngsters George Williams and Alex Codd has shown real promise.

Therefore the platform set up front could be critical. The home side's pack appears younger and more mobile, but led by Mark James in the second row, the visitors have the greater physicality.

This should be an intriguing battle.

St Davids v Haverfordwest (1.30pm)

The Blues finally found their stride last week with a 64-3 home win over Tregaron.

Ollie Hughes and Rhys Baker highlighted the damage their backs can do with five tries between them, while the return of Lewis Wood at No 8 was another big plus point.

By contrary, The Saints were hammered 95-5 in Pembroke, and despite recent improvements, had no answer to the physicality of The Scarlets.

They need to find a way of coping with the intensity of the visitors here to avoid another long 80 minutes.

In contrast, Bruce Evans' men were poor in their last game on the road and lucky to draw against the Pembroke Quins. They will want to banish that performance quickly.

National Plate Round Two:

Crymych v Blackwood - walkover to Crymych.

On paper, it looked a good draw for Crymych against Division Two East side Blackwood.

The latter have five wins from six starts in their league campaign so far - but have handed the tie to the Preseli Men claiming they can not raise a team.

Whitland v Tumble

The Borderers were supposed to play Tumble in the league last week in a game that fell foul to the weather.

And like Crymych, while I doubt the Plate is their main goal, they have a big chance to go into round three here at home to a side bottom of their table with five straight league losses.

Scott Lloyd switches to full back with Josh Thomas coming into the centre, while No 10 Nico Setaro leads the side in the absence of hooker Marc Jones.

If Whitland perform as they have been, they should go through.

Whitland: Scott Lloyd, Liam Price, Alun Howells, Josh Thomas, Sean Coles, Nico Setaro, Tom Parry, Jacob Dewhist, Kevin Allen, Tomos Evans, Dai Ebsworth, Ben Kirk, Ryan Michael, James Lewis, Jack Mason.

Replacements: Gethin Lewis, Aaron Mayne, Danny Evans, Raff Williams, Aaron Ebsworth.

National Bowl Round Three:

Cefn Cribbwr v Pembroke

The Scarlets were rampant against St Davids last week, but will be made to work harder against a Cefn Cribbwr side currently fourth in Division Three West Central B.

Geraint Lewis and co will know little about the home side, but as the cliche goes, they simply have to worry about their own performance.

Pembroke now look a solid collective unit, with powerful carriers up front, and the likes of Simon Hooper, Toby Smith, Luke Hartland and Dan Colley in assured form behind.

Any team near the top of one of the Division Three leagues is capable of a good run in the Bowl if they commit to it, and win here, and The Scarlets may just start thinking of the Principality Stadium in May.

COBRA v Crymych II

Full credit to Crymych, in an era where 2nd team rugby is supposedly struggling, they have embraced the Bowl with great wins over Newcastle Emlyn 2nds and Cardigan.

The reward for Robin Davies and co is a road trip up north tomorrow.

It won't be easy, but like against The Teifisiders, Crymych go in with no pressure on them and nothing to lose, and they are more than capable of playing good rugby and springing a shock.

Laugharne v Pontrhydyfen - walkover to Laugharne.

Laugharne have had it easy in the Bowl thus far - with byes in their first two rounds.

And the Gods have been kind to them here, as news emerged Friday afternoon that The Cocklemen have benefited from another forfeit, this time from Division Three West Central B team Pontrhydyfen.

It means they are into round four, amazingly, without having to step on the field.
