Merlins Bridge striker Nathan Greene appeared as a second half substitute for the West Wales Football Association in their win over Gwent at Garden Village last night.
And West Wales prevailed 2-1, leading 1-0 at the break before Greene entered the fray shortly after the break.
They doubled the lead five minutes from full time, before Gwent grabbed a consolation goal in the dying moments.
"It was a good, solid performance from us on what turned out to be a very soft pitch. We were deserved winners in the end," Greene told Telegraph Sport this morning.
"Obviously I was a bit disappointed to have been on the bench - but it was a good experience to be involved with the West Wales Football Association."
Greene's selection was reward for a super season for The Wizards thus far, scoring 21 times in league and cup action after signing back from West Dragons in the summer.
