Division One:

Herbrandston 1-4 Narberth

NARBERTH came from behind to secure victory over struggling ten-man Herbrandston and go second in the table.

The hosts led 1-0 on the 20 minute mark when Scott Reid got on the end of a Lewis Nicholas cross to score from close range.

The returning Adam Galdo and Reid then both went close to making it two - the latter denied by a great save from Narberth keeper Jason Jones, before the hosts had strong appeals for a penalty turned down.

Then the tide turned just before the break when Tony Evans equalised, and then deep into first half injury time, the same player chipped home keeper Jack Ackermann to make it 2-1.

It was a feisty second period where Herbrandston’s Dylan Hawkridge was sent off, and Oliver West's team also had to play the last 15 minutes with nine men after suffering an inury having used all three subs.

And The Bluebirds added two late goals, first through a Ben John volley, and then Luke Raymond was on target to secure victory.

The win takes Narberth second, albeit having played more games than the three teams below them, but Herbie are now rock bottom.
