Pembrokeshire KO Cup first round:
Haverfordwest 14-18 Fishguard
A late try from winger Thomas George edged Fishguard into the next round of the Pembrokeshire KO Cup after a tight battle with Haverfordwest.
The Division Two West side came through a tough test against a rejuvenated Blues team, who had battled back from a 10-0 half time deficit to lead 14-13 with just eight minutes to go.
Fishguard back rower Chris Shousha scored the only try of the first half, the skipper powering over after a close range break - and Kial Keane landed the extras and a penalty to put the visitors in control.
But back came Haverfordwest in the second half, as centre Dan Richards crossed over and the newly re-signed Craig Barnett converted.
And the latter added the extras again after winger Ben Skudder scored in the corner to give the home side a four point lead.
But the Seagulls finished the stronger with Keane kicking another penalty, before George won it late on as Fishguard went through to an away quarter final with Whitland.
Llangwm 10-29 Neyland
Neyland set up a Pembs KO Cup quarter final at St Davids as The All Blacks scored five tries at Pill Parks to beat Llangwm.
New coach Graham Richards saw his side take the lead when No 10 Dillen McGaffin broke through an off loaded to full back Patrick Bellerby, who sped to the posts for the outside half to convert.
But Llangwm dug in, and in a tight first half, reduced to deficit to four points as Luke Hayman landed a penalty.
The game opened up after the break and the visitors crossed again when second half Luke Griffiths-Dawes went over, and McGaffin added the extras.
But scrum half George Evans then saw yellow for Neyland and The Wasps took advantage, as No 8 Josh Hicks powered over and No 10 Hayman converted to bring Llangwm back to 14-10.
It was the All Blacks who finished the stronger though with three unconverted tries in the final quarter, as replacement winger Henry MacBeth went over before No 8 Ben Williams also touched down.
And it was the returning Evans who rounded off a win with a late try – sending Neyland into the last eight.
Round Two draw (ties to be played by November 30th):
Milford Haven v Pembroke
Crymych/Tenby United v Aberystwyth
Whitland v Fishguard
St Davids v Neyland
