Manderwood Pembrokeshire League Division 1: Carew 2-4 St Clears
TRISTAN Hancock scored twice to secure St Clears a shock victory at Carew.
But the Saints were well worth the win as they inflicted a first defeat of the season over the previously unbeaten Rooks.
The visitors took the lead on the half hour mark, as a loose ball in the box fell to Josh Jones who scrambled home from close range.
Five minutes after half time and St Clears went 0-2 up, as Hancock broke clear and coolly slotted past Tom Davies.
But Carew clawed their way back into the game when Lloyd Hughes and Jordan Richards both scored to level matters.
The Saints regained the lead in the 75th minute though when striker Steve Thomas glanced in a header at a corner.
And the 82nd minute the Saints added a fourth when Hancock made no mistake with another one-on-one with Davies.
