Senior Cup Round 2: Pennar Robins 10-0 Lawrenny

Pennar Robins trounced Division Two side Lawrenny at Bush Camp to also progress into the last eight of the Senior Cup.

It left Pennar manager Chris Lloyd happy with his team’s display, and he said he was pleased with how clinical his side were in front of goal.

The hosts led 6-0 at half time, with strikers Ben Adams and Sam Southcott both on fire as they both hit hat tricks in the first 45 minutes.

After the break, Lawrenny competed better but still the Robins controlled matters.

Thomas Grimwood drilled in the seventh, andConnor Roberts was on target with the eighth before the goal of the game came from sub Scott Trayhern  - who struck a wicked rising shot from the edge of the box.

Luke Phillips duly completed the rout, as Pennar joined near rivals Monkton as the only two teams through to the last eight.
