Division Three West A: Llangwm 3-79 Neyland

It is going to be some game at The Athletic Club on Saturday when Division Three West A leaders Neyland meet Milford Haven in a highly anticipated derby.

And the All Blacks will head into the clash in top form, having notched 25 points from 25 in the league this season.

They got off to a flier at Pill Parks on Saturday as prop Jack Harries and second row Mark James powered their way over, with full back Dillen McGaffin converting the first of them.

Luke Hayman landed a penalty for Llangwm but Neyland soon regained the initiative with a ruthless display out wide.

Winger Delme Bateman, skipper and centre George Williams (2), and McGaffin - who kicked two more conversions - all scored tries to seal a 36-3 half time lead.

And their domination continued after the break as The All Blacks added another 43 points, with George Williams claiming his hat-trick and adding a fourth alongside a treble of tries from midfield partner Alex Codd, while flanker Iestyn Evans and McGaffin again touched down.

George Evans kicked four conversions to round off another big win, but coaches Graham Richards and Steve Evans will know their side face their biggest test yet against their arch rivals.

“We asked the boys to give 100% and respect Llangwm and we scored some good tries.

“Milford are a very good side all we can do is go out and continue playing the rugby that suits us. We fear no one and at the moment we are playing with ambition and to our abilities, and if you do that then results come.”

The Mariners also go in to Saturday with a perfect league record, with their 27-10 win over Tregaron on Saturday sealing a fourth straight bonus point win.
