Manderwood Pembrokeshire League Division One: Pennar Robins 3-1 Narberth 

Pennar Robins picked up their first league win since September against Narberth much to the delight of manager Chris Lloyd.

The hosts took an early lead when Josh Dearsley headed home Danno Kitts’ corner.

On the 25 minute mark the hosts doubled the lead, goal scorer Dearsley played a neat through ball which set up Josh Clark, who confidently slotted past Adi Jones.

The Bluebirds then pulled a goal back in the 30th minute, Jordan Williams benefitting from a goalmouth melee.

But Lloyd’s team secured the points when they added a third 20 minutes from the end. Ben Adams turned quickly on the edge of the box and fired a low drive into the far corner of Jones’ net.

St Clears 4-0 Milford United 

Milford United’s poor season continued as they were reduced to ten men and conceded four second half goals at St Clears.

After a goalless first period all the drama unfolded in the second half.

The hosts were awarded a penalty on the hour mark when Scott Griffiths was adjudged to have pushed Nathan Evans in the box - and was then shown a red card for dissent. Jon Seeley took responsibility and comfortably despatched past Jack Nicholas.

Seeley scored a second penalty after he was fouled inside the box and referee Jeff Hurton again pointed to the spot.

Jamie Thomas came off the bench to make his first team debut for the Saints, and he made quite an impact. Thomas’ shot was parried led to the third goal that striker Steve Thomas to head in the rebound.

Ten minutes from the end Thomas rose to nod in a corner and complete a good day at the office for the Saints, while the Robins are still awaiting their first points of the season.
