Manderwood Pembrokeshire League Division 1: Hakin United 7-3 Clarbeston Road

There was no shortage of action, or goals, at The Obs has Hakin United made it three league wins in a row in a 10 goal thriller with Clarbie Road.

The teams went in 3-3 at the break, and Kristan Bennett would have been relieved to see his side assert more control in the second half as his side stayed fifth, but with games in hand on three of the four teams above them.

Winger Adam John fired Hakin in front with an 18 yard shot past Chris Lo - but it didn't last long as Mark Jones was penalised in his own area for a push on Jason Griffiths.

The latter duly buried the resultant penalty.

And then on the 20 minute mark Clarbie led when Sean Seymour-Davies' shot somehow crept under home keeper James Manson.

Nicky Woodrow turned things back around with a tap in on 35 minutes - before unleashing a 30 yard screamer that flew into Lo's top corner.

And yet still the teams went in level when Seymour-Davies again struck with a snap shot from inside the area.

But three minutes into the second half sub Shane Walsh headed in a John cross, and on the hour mark Justin Harding got in on the act with a spectacular 20 yard strike.

The back and for action continued as hakin defender Leigh Marchant cleared off his own line and Manson made an excellent save to keep it at 5-3.

Mark Jones made the points safe for The Vikings though with a close range finish from a corner, and then it was Harding who rounded off matters from the penalty spot after Bradley Barrett had been fouled.
