Manderwood Pembrokeshire League Division 1: Clarbeston Road 6-2 Saundersfoot Sports

An excellent second half performance from Clarbeston Road saw them notch four goals to run out comfortable victors against Saundersfoot Sports.

The hosts opened the scoring as Matthew Griffiths struck from inside the box.

However, the Sports responded with a well worked equaliser which resulted in Adam Davidson made no mistake with a firm header.

But the Road regained the lead, Ben John’s cross-cum-shot from the left sailed over Sam Franklin.

But once again the visitors equalised, Jack Franklin struck with a well-executed direct free kick as the score stood at 2-2 at half time.

In the second period the visitors added a third as Richard Bevan got on the end of a cut-back to drill in from 10 yards.

Bevan added his second of the game for the Road’s fourth, the striker beating Franklin from an acute angle.

Rheinallt George added the fifth with a clinical far post header.

Substitute Miles Morgan added the sixth, when the substitute struck a cracking shot from the edge of the box which flew into the top corner.
