Manderwood Pembrokeshire League Division Four: Broad Haven 2nds 1-2 Cosheston

A second half goal from Simon Lewis was enough for Cosheston to seal the Division Four title, and back to back promotions, despite a nervy finish at Broad Haven today.

Gavin Wickland's team went in needing three points to move above Pennar 3rds on goal difference after the Robins won their final match on Thursday.

But it was Broad Haven who came out flying as Drew Grove put them ahead with an effort that was diverted in by an away defender.

Dalton Boswell levelled matters before half time though, and then ten minutes after the break it was Lewis who turned and hit a half volley into the top corner from 12 yards.

Further drama was to come though with Broad Haven awarded a late penalty that Rob McNaughton crashed against the bar.

"It was a bit of a tense finish," admitted player manager Wickland.

"But we held on and the boys are buzzing. I'm proud of all of them."

His side will go for the double on Wednesday when they play Hundleton 2nds in the Fourth Divison Cup final.
