Division 1: Carew 3-0 Clarbeston Road

Debuant Joe Leahy scored a brace for ten-man Carew who overcame a determined Clarbeston Road outfit.

The former Wizards striker took 35 minutes before he opened his account, comfortably slotting past keeper Matthew Davies.

Five minutes later and Leahy was on target with goal number two, making no mistake with a well taken far post header.

Rooks manager Rob Scourfield and assistant Jeremy Griffiths would have felt happy with their comfortable lead at half time.

The hosts added an important third on the 70-minute mark. Fraser Findlay scored from a direct free kick despite Davies getting a hand to it.

But minutes later the win was soured a little for the home side when Findlay received a straight red card for what was deemed to be raising his hands.

Carew go to Fishguard on Saturday while Clarbie welcome Neyland.
