Division 3: Letterston 2-5 Haverfordwest Cricket Club

One of just two Pembrokeshire Football League games to survive the weather today came at Letterston - and despite the conditions the hosts and Haverfordwest Cricket Club put on an entertaining affair.

It was the Cricket Club who ran out winners, but after leading 2-0 half time they had to survive some ropey moments after the break before securing a 5-2 win.

Dai Davies' team took the lead when Travis Jones scored with a penalty - and they doubled the advantage when Kieran Walker's corner evaded everyone and found the top corner.

The home side responded early in the second half though when Joe Jones scored with a snap-shot from the edge of the area - only for Walker to make it 3-1 within seconds of his team kicking play back off.

Letterston got back into it again when Tyler Brooker headed in from a corner - and then enjoyed a good spell of pressure before twice being hit on the break late on.

Firstly Jack Ashman made ground down the right wing before cutting in and cooly finishing past keeper Andrew Sharp - and another second half sub in Liam Sheehan sealed the win with a tap in after good work from left back Robbie Corner.

The win takes the Cricket Club sixth, with Letterston still bottom with just three points..
