The annual Broad Haven Christmas Pudding 10k wasn’t short on quality - or colour!

Despite freezing conditions, 246 runners started and finished on the beach with each receiving a medal and a Christmas pudding for their troubles.

The winner in a superb time of 34:01 was Pembrokeshire Harrier Tom Sinton, only a second ahead of Edwards Clements(Tenby Aces).
Third was David Kenna of Llanelli AC in 34:34.

The winning veteran was Alan Latter of West Coast tri, seventh overall ion a time of 37:48, while Clodagh Llewhellin was the female (and female veteran) winner with a time of 40:51, giving her 17th overall.

The first female home in the senior category was heather Fitzgerald in 46:23.

But there were many entrants who used the event to simply enjoy themselves and indulge in some fancy dress.

Indeed, Sarah Thomas won the best dressed after completing the run in an inflatable unicorn costume, helping to raise funds for Belle’s Story in the process.

A number of other runners also joined her in competing for the charity.
