Division 1: Carew 6-2 Saundersfoot Sports

Fraser Finlay scored a brilliant hat-trick to help Carew condemn bottom of the table Saundersfoot Sports to their fifteenth defeat of the season.

The score read 1-1 at half time, but The Rooks took control in the second period to chalk up their eleventh victory of the campaign.

The hosts opened the scoring in the tenth minute when Finlay scored with an easy tap-in. However, The Sports equalised when Rhys Bates struck from close range.

A minute after the break and Scott Ferney went around Sports’ keeper Lewis Hurlow for his side’s second. Five minutes later and Shaun Whitfield toe-poked home his side’s third as The Rooks took control.

Adam Davidson pulled one back for the visitors before Finlay found the back of the net from a corner for The Rooks’ fourth.

Jack Christopher added the fifth when the experienced striker headed home at the far post. Finley added the sixth which stemmed from a well taken free kick.
