Billy Robb has been a terrific stalwart for Letterston AFC - both on and off the field.

Therefore, there was no better man to pick the club's best side of the 21st century.

He admitted there were "so many more players" he wanted to fit into this team, but has narrowed it down to a squad of 14.

GOALKEEPER - JAMES GWILT

I really don't need to say to much here - everyone in the county knows Gwilty as the best goalkeeper in Pembrokeshire.

RIGHT BACK - KARL HEDLEY

Had an absolute engine and could run all day. The only player I know that would have a fag at half time and still be the fittest player on the pitch, and on top of that a great footballer

CENTRE BACK - EMYR GRIFFITHS

Such a versatile player who could play anywhere. Anyone would struggle one on one with him as he was such a strong lad.

CENTRE BACK - NICK LAWRENCE

A one club man still who is going today!Great in the air and can also play it out from the back.

LEFT BACK - MIKE (LUNCHBOX) LAWRENCE

Another one club man who has seen them come and go. Also still playing today and loves a tackle. He had to be put in the team for his loyalty and commitment if nothing else.

RIGHT MIDFIELD - GARETH MATHIAS

Another versatile player who can play anywhere, even fancies his chances in goal! A great footballer who goes up and down the wing all day long, and even pitches in with a few goals.

CENTRE MIDFIELD - CHRIS SAMPSON

He was vocal in midfield and solid in a tackle  - a complete midfielder.

CENTRE MIDFIELD - LIAM ROBB

A very promising footballer who could put the ball through an eye of a needle but very unlucky with injuries. Did his cruciate ligament early on in senior football and never fully recovered.

LEFT MIDFIELD - STUART GRAY

Another with a great engine. He had an eye for goal, great foot work and could trick his way into the box. An all round great player.

STRIKER - TRISTAN MANSELL

An absolute baller. Great footwork and could play midfield or striker with his eye for goal. Also a dead ball specialist and was great leader for the young lads coming through.

STRIKER - GERAINT (JOEY) MATHIAS

This lad could run all day and would terrorise the opposition's defence. Scored goals for fun.

SUBSTITUTES

GAVIN MCGEE

Another who is still going today. Great in a tackle  - very hot headed andvocal on the pitch but also a leader off it.

PETE (MAGIC) JOHNSTON

Another one who loved a challenge. He was an engine in midfield and another one who would look out for the young lads coming through.

ROB HEDLEY

Like his brother Karl loved a fag at half time but could still be up and down the wing all day! Great set piece taker and could whip a ball in from the wing.

PLAYER MANAGERS - TRISTAN MANSELL AND NICK LAWRENCE

I had to choose these two because they were in charge the last time Letterston firsts won a trophy. They brought a real team spirit into the squad with different themes for the boys each week. Won Division 3 after only losing two games all season.
