A big day of cricket is in store.
For some sides, the competitive element of the Pembroke County Club's very own 'project restart' will end today with defeat in either the Harrison-Allen or Alec Colley. Others will progress to the quarter final stages.
The Bowl has thrown up some belting ties. Carew host Cresselly with the winner in line to play much fancied Neyland, who host Herbie. Another derby sees the holders, Haverfordwest, at home to Llangwm who can be a dangerous side in this format.
Laugharne, Stackpole, and Hook are the venues for tricky away trips for top flight sides Tish, Narberth, and Lawrenny respectively - and in an all Division 2 clash Pembroke play Burton. Lamphey, promoted from Division 3 last season, host Llanrhian.
Every side is way short of the game time they would usually have under their belts by August - which will make for more intrigue.
Later in the afternoon comes the Colley - with the pick of those ties undoubtedly the repeat of the 2020 final between Neyland and Cresselly.
Carew and Haverfordwest, who will also be among the favourities, travel to Llanrhian and Laugharne respectively -while there are derby matches between Pembroke and Pembroke Dock and Hook and Llangwm. Elsewhere Herbie host Whitland, Saundersfoot welcome Lawrenny, and Tish welcome Llechryd.
An interesting day lies ahead.
