On Thursday,  September 24th, the Milford Haven Golf Club senior section played a timed start stableford competition – and Ivor Mckenzie came out on top of the 37 members who played for the President’s Trophy.

It was also a qualifier for the Colin Reynolds Salvers and counted for handicaps. This year’s President Richard (Dick) Wooding plans to present the trophy at the Senior presentation dinner in December, pending Corvid-19 regulations.

The trophy was presented by Roger Cook when he became the first President of the senior section in 2005 and was played for the first time in 2006, and won by Billy Laugharne.

The course was once again in excellent condition with the greens  a pleasure to putt on many thanks to the green staff

It was 14 handicapper Ivor who won the trophy with 39 points, beating Steve Warlow on back nine count.
