On Thursday, the Milford Haven Golf Club senior section played a stableford competition and 38 members took part.

The event was also a qualifier for the Colin Reynolds Salvers.

The winner on the day was 13 handicapper Alan Chase with 39 points, beating Tim Phillips (also 39 points) on the last nine holes count.

The course standard scratch for the day was 38 points which resulted in changes to the following players handicaps - Phil Davies 12 to 13; Brian Keen 23 to 24; Geoff Davies 24 to 25.

The two’s competition kitty was shared by nine players - Gwyn Scale, Richard Setterfield, David Evans, Owain Picton, Mark Davies, Robin Potter, Nigel Roberts, Adrian Dark and Gerald Slate.

Colin Reynolds Salvers:

After 15 completed competitions in the  Colin Reynolds Salver and with only  three more to be played; Gwyn Scale picked up four points for his third place in the competition and moves to the top of the table with 21 points; no other changes at the top.

In the Val French-Esso Individual KO Cup, David Britton won the final by beating John Skelhorn in a close contested final which went to the first extra hole. Losing semi-finalists were Richard Setterfield and Mark Davies.
