Powerboat trainees Lewis Reeves and Alex Clark were certified after a successful course at Tenby Sailing Club.
The training, which took place on Saturday, October 19, was completed in favourable weather conditions.
The sailors were awarded their RYA PB2 certificates, demonstrating their proficiency in handling a powerboat.
However, some care was needed during the course to avoid scaring an innocent bystander in the water.
Storm Ashley prevented dinghy racing the following day, with next week potentially hosting the final race of the Frostbite Series.
Amelia Nuttall performed admirably at the Weymouth ILCA4 qualifiers, coming 13th out of 56 competitors.
In clubhouse news, Terry Evans' Charity Quiz will be held on Saturday, October 26 at 8pm, with entry fees going to the RNLI.
The Annual Sailing Club Dinner Dance is scheduled for November 22, with the AGM following a day later.
