Solva 1
Hakin United 3
TEN-man Hakin United had to work extremely hard to gain victory at Solva.
Peter Cole’s outfit never played like a team that is sitting third from bottom, they gave title contenders Hakin United a real fright as they battled throughout.
The home side got off to a good start when Luke Jones scored within ten minutes of kick-off. Jamie Davies equalised for the Vikings ten-minutes later, but Scott Davies was issued a straight red-card by referee Helmut Reinhardt as he over reacted to a hard tackle on him.
Gary Dawes’ Vikings had to wait until 15 minutes from the end before they regained parity as Davies struck for his second goal of the match. Michael Cooper came off the bench and put the result beyond doubt, unleashing an unstoppable 20-yarder that flew in the top corner.
