SCARLETS centre Jonathan Davies will miss the rest of the autumn internationals and the Six Nations after being ruled out for six months.
The 29-year-old suffered an ankle injury in the last minute of Saturday’s loss to Australia at Principality Stadium.
Davies, the Lions’ player of the series against New Zealand last summer, will undergo surgery on his left leg.
Wales have called Jamie Roberts up to their squad for the Tests against Georgia, the All Blacks and South Africa while Scarlets centre Hadleigh Parkes will be available for the Springboks encounter once he qualifies on residency terms.
Davies will miss the Scarlets' bid to get out of their Champions Cup group with Toulon, Bath and Treviso and will aim to return for the defence of their Guinness PRO14 title.
