A Bradford nightclub could be shut permanently after a string of violent incidents, including two stabbings.
Police believe Club C's could attract revenge attacks if it remains open.
The club, in Sackville Street, had its licence temporarily suspended on May 1 pending a full review. It followed a number of violent crimes including stabbings in the early hours of April 14 and April 27, and an assault on April 6.
Councillors on the Bradford District Licensing Panel will meet on Friday to decide whether to revoke the licence permanently or remove club boss Neal Allen as licensee.
The police have prepared a dossier on their concerns over the club, which is not being made public “due to ongoing police inquiries and to protect the identity of individuals”.
