OVER the last few months there appears to have been little good news reported in Tetbury.
Times change and I would like to let everyone know what has happened over the last week.
As a grandfather and school governor I have attended two remarkable events.
Firstly, there was an absolutely brilliant presentation by St Marys Primary School, YeHa, which was unbelievably good and reflects very positively on the pupils and staff.
The pupils showed great talent and maturity and everyone enjoyed the production.
Secondly, there was a ‘Proms in the Park’ at Sir William Romney’s Secondary School, involving SWR pupils, St Marys Primary School pupils, Minchinhampton Primary School, Avening Primary School, the Avening Angels and Nailsworth Silver Band. Again, everyone enjoyed the evening and the talent on display was fantastic.
All thanks should be given to pupils, staff and helpers at these events and we look forward to a repeat next year!
