Dorothy May Jones Pembroke Dorothy May Jones of 3 Rose Cottage, Merlins Cross, Pembroke fell asleep peacefully at her home where she had resided for 70 years surrounded by her family on the 17th September following a short illness. Dorothy was a very kind and caring unique lady and had a very sweet nature. She was a inspiration to all that came into contact with her. Dorothy went to work at the young age of 13 to care for orphan children in Croft House Childrens Home The Green, Pembroke which she thoroughly enjoyed. She then went onto work with Dr Yule at Riverside Surgery, The Green, Pembroke and from there worked at the Cottage Hospital, East Back, Pembroke, nursing the sick and wounded back to health. Dorothy met Leslie Claude Jones and they got married and had four children that Dorothy adored. She had many grandchildren and great grandchildren, her grranddaughter brought her so much love and happiness and her great grandsons who she absolutely adored and they were her life. There will be a private funeral, with donations to Pembroke Dock and Milford Haven Ambulance Service. Flowers to E C Thomas and Sons, Pembroke.
