HAMMOND WATTS Gerald (Gerry) Llangwm Ferry Lynne would like to express her heartfelt gratitude for the help and care that she and Gerry received during his long illness and since he passed away on 2nd May this year. First I would like to say thankyou to my super family for their ongoing love and support, then to the many friends and neighbours who made kind offers of help throughout. The dedication of the NHS has been outstanding despite the strictures of the pandemic. A huge team from the consultants to the cheery tea ladies, and everyone between have ensured Gerry received nothing but diligent and timely care delivered with great compassion. More recently the A.R.T team, palliative care team,carers and paramedics were all instrumental in ensuring Gerry could be cared for at home where he remained comfortable and cheerful right to the end. Paul Sartori's (ongoing) support seems to know no bounds, thankyou all. Thanks go to Linda for arranging the glorious and apt flowers for Gerry, and Sarah who supplied a handsome, substantial buffet for the mourners. Sincere thanks to Huw George for bringing a little levity to a solemn, sad occasion, and to Neil of J Roberts and Son for his solid support at my darkest time. Many thanks to all who sent cards or flowers, and finally, thanks to the small band of mourners who turned out not once, but twice in the most appalling weather to say farewell to dear Gerry.
