Renowned children’s storyteller and musician, Sally Tonge, is in Pembrokeshire later this month working with under threes and their parents and carers.
On Tuesday, 18th November, Sally is in Haverfordwest Library between 10 am and 11.30 am before performing at Neyland library between 1.15 pm and 2.45 pm.
Sally, who is from Shropshire, encourages children to use rhythm and rhyme as they start to enjoy sharing stories and poems.
Her events involve plenty of participation and are ideal for encouraging children to develop listening and co-ordination skills.
Her visit is part of the Autumn Happy Days campaign to encourage library use and is also part of a programme of events designed to celebrate 2008 as the National Year of Reading.
