Kill for a Seat comedy club is bringing Christmas to the Queens Hall early this year, in the shape of Jarred Christmas, an energetic comedian from New Zealand, who will be MC for tomorrow‘s (Thursday’s) event.

Joining Jarred is British comedy writer and experimental comedian Simon Munnery, also known by his stage names, Alan Parker: Urban Warrior and The League Against Tedium.

His routine is satirical, usually political and almost always surreal.

Simon incorporates his harmonica into his act and his dialogue is full of cracking one-liners.

Supporting the already impressive bill is a Scouser with attitude. People might know him as Nige but his mum calls him Keith Carter.

The Scally who fell to earth will regale the audience with his foul mouthed, druggie stories and side-splitting melodic songs full of twisted humour.

His material also contains surreal, well-thought out, hilarious observations.

Tickets are £9 (£7 concessions) available from Span Arts on 01834 869323.
